Tarini needs no introduction for those who like to drown themselves in a world full of prints, colors and handcrafted textiles. But, for the uninitiated, it is a design-oriented home linen brand, led by Shashi Sehgal. Since 1993, Shashi’s commitment to design sensibility, quality and work ethics redefined lifestyle culture, creating an inclusive world of people sharing her dream
Back in the day, Shashi used to work with a leading Delhi based export house under the mentorship of its owners, Pami Singh & Kamal Singh, who helped discover the talent in her. Soon thereafter, she set up her design-house-cum-export unit, Mariko. And a year later, Tarini was born out of a South Delhi garage!
With more than 2500 prints to choose from, Tarini has become synonymous with luxury living, perfectly retaining the old-world charm & infusing the new-age vibe to it.

With more than 200 artists and weavers working day in and day out, it is no surprise that Tarini has grown leaps and bounds in the last 27 years. And we believe that our craftspeople are at the heart of every creation. That’s why we have set up a Four-Way Social Toolbar for our workers:
1.To provide motivational standards to workers for their growth and self-empowerment.
2.To ensure the well-being of workers by attending to their health and safety.
3.To improve the living conditions of workers and their immediate families.
4.To increase awareness on social issues like good health and well-being, education, save the girl child, conserve the environment, to name a few.
Tarini’s growing vision is to keep creating top-quality products, which are at once design-led, market-oriented and eco-friendly. We are one of the earliest Indian manufacturers to develop products in organic fabric with organic colors. We have set up a rainwater harvesting reservoir to conserve water and increase water tables in the neighborhood. A water plant has been installed to recycle the used water.
